Pool Cage Cleaning in Cape Coral

Green film on the frames, black spots on the screen, a slippery deck. We soft wash the whole enclosure and the floor under it, gently enough that the screens stay tight in their splines.

Cleaning a standard single-story pool cage in Cape Coral costs about $250–$400; large or two-story enclosures run $400–$650. Adding the pool deck or lanai floor is typically $150–$300. Screens and frames are soft washed, never pressure washed, so the screening is not stretched or torn.

What gets cleaned

  • Screen panels, inside and out, including the roof panels over the pool
  • Aluminum framing, kick plates and the top of each beam, where the green collects
  • The screen door, its closer and the frame around it
  • The pool deck or paver floor inside the cage
  • The lanai ceiling, ceiling fan blades and outdoor kitchen walls on request

Why screens can't take pressure

Pool screen is fine fiberglass mesh held into the frame by a rubber spline. A pressure stream stretches the mesh, pushes it out of the channel and opens small tears that become big ones in the next storm. Painted aluminum frames lose their finish the same way. We use a soft wash mix suited to screening, a brush where the frame needs it and a low-pressure rinse.

We look over the panels before we start. Any that are already torn or loose get pointed out, so you know what was there before we arrived; rescreening is a separate trade and we can tell you what to ask for.

Protecting the pool

Most of the dirt on a cage ends up in the pool if you let it. We work so the runoff goes to the deck and the drains, not the water, and rinse the deck down at the end. Expect to run the filter and brush the walls the day after; your pool service will see a little extra debris in the skimmer, nothing more.

How often

Once a year keeps most Cape Coral enclosures clean. Cages on the canal, under oaks or facing north tend to need it every six to nine months, and a cleaned cage lets noticeably more light into the pool area.

Pool cage cleaning questions

Do I need to do anything to the pool first?

No. Leave the pump running if you can. We protect the water while we work and you can swim again once the deck is rinsed.

Can you clean a cage with torn screens?

Yes, carefully, around the damage. We will show you the torn panels so you can get them replaced.

Do you clean lanai furniture?

We move it out of the way and put it back. Cushions and fabric we leave to you.
